When visiting the Hovel off Glendale Rd, please wear your mask! I am a high-risk candidate and I'm having way too much fun to do the sick thing!
The Web Store is divided into 2 sections...Plant Starts and Edibles.
Plant Starts , Deck•Ready Containers, etc
Available 24/7 for shopping. Order them, come & get them! Plant Orders ONLY available for pick up at the Hovel.
Edibles - Opens in late April, 2021
The Edibles section is reloaded on Sunday nights for publication on Monday morning, at the latest. Use the 'Categories' on the left side of the Store to easily navigate the offerings! Each week, I will also post to the Blog thoughts & particulars on the Week's offerings. The Blog is worth the couple minutes to read!
Pick Up Notification
When your Order is packed, the 'machine' will send you an email saying your Order is Ready for Pick Up.
After you have picked up your Order, you will receive 2 emails from the 'machine'. These emails clear my cyber-paperwork for the Order & can be disregarded. What's the old saying...Job isn't done till the paperwork is!!
WGG prefers Cash or Island Check.
The Check-out process of the 'canned' Web Store software pushes PayPal & Square options for payment. In a world where Nothing is 'free', WGG is charged 1.9% and 30¢ per each transaction. Collectively, over the course of a year, that's one of my mortgage payments! Go to the bottom of the Payment Page, click CASH! Pay Mikey, not the bank! Please make Island checks to 'WGG' or Whidbey Green Goods.
For those that do use PayPal or Square, I ask that you throw a buck or two into the jar at Pick Up to defray transaction costs!
WGG uses certain sized pots, trays, etc in the operation. If you have plastics to recycle, WGG wants your 3.5" & 4" square pots, 1/2 gal square or round pots, 1, 2, 4 & 5 gal round pots and ANY B-I-G pots! Also, 10x20" trays & 10x20" tray liners, with or without holes. Please do not drop off any plastic not on this list...Thanks!
7545 Roseberry St, Clinton. From the Ken’s Korner stoplight, south on Cultus Bay Rd 3 miles. Left onto Glendale Rd…Tricky left turn, be sure to slow down. Go 1 mile on Glendale to the washout…Ignore the “Road Closed” sign. Right hand turn onto Roseberry St…It’s a gravel road up the side of a hill. Top of the hill on the left. Pull into the drive and then a hard right into the too small parking area. Pull in far enough to have your bumper ‘kiss’ the pink tape...Makes exiting much easier!
